About the club

A long-established, friendly and welcoming club, we have three floodlit courts, which were resurfaced in 2019, set within the beautiful 27 acres of Carlton Park, Saxmundham.

We're also one of the oldest clubs in England, and in 1883 we played host to the first Suffolk Tennis Championships.

Adjacent to the courts is a pavilion with kitchen area, meeting room, a changing area, and toilets. The courts are well maintained and there is ample parking.

Head Coach Matthew Last

After graduating, he decided to get LTA Coaching badges whilst gaining experience as an assistant coach at the club before becoming Head coach in September 2016. Matt started life at Saxmundham Tennis Club as a junior player almost a decade ago, and says "it feels great to have come full circle."
