Our famous Summer Box League returns in 2025 with the following competitions:

• Ladies Doubles

• Mixed Doubles

• Ladies Singles

• Mens Singles

• Mens Doubles 

• Senior Singles (55+ combined ladies and gents)
   

Each competition will start with a round robin format in groups of around 4, with winners and potentially runners up progressing into the knock out stage.

 

Remaining players/pairs will be put into a Plate knock out competition.

 

Men's Singles and Senior singles will be straight knock out with those out in the first round going into a plate competition.

Stages and timeframe
 

• Round Robin - 7th April until 7th July 2025 
   

• Knockout stage - 8th July until 31st August 2025
   

• Finals Day - Finals and Plate Finals to be played on SUNDAY 14th SEPTEMBER 2025 NB: Finals Day will be linked with a social tournament and be a real club celebration so please try and keep the date free!

 

Format
 

• Matches will be two sets, deciding 10 point tie break with locked at one set all. 
   

• In the group stage, one point for playing the match, along with one point per set won (including deciding tie break). 
   

• Matches to be self arranged and must be played in the timeframe given
   

Entry
 

• Please email club@saxtennis.co.uk to enter plus partners name if entering a doubles competition
   

• £3 per player per competition, must be played before 6th April 
   

• Payment details will be given upon reply to your entry email
   

• Always happy to match you with someone if your in need of a partner
   

• Please enter by Saturday 5th April
