Lights, players, action!

Wednesday 24th January saw the first big switch-on of our new court lighting.

Bill Camplin, Lawrence Killian, Fiona Foreman, and David Lewis (pictured right) saw fit to put the new lights to the test, with some very positive results.

A significant and important investment for the club, we were fortunate to receive almost half of the funding needed for the lights through generous support from the Saxmundham Sports Club, a grant from the East Suffolk Enabling Communities funds, and also other exemptions.

A big "WELL DONE!" to the tennis club sub-committee for dedicating their time and effort in researching, purchasing and overseeing the installation of our new lights, the fitting of which took only a few days. They're great!
